Success means to have a definite aim/Goals/Plan – How to achieve Goals i.e. the road-map to get to your goal, implement the plan, and finally achieve the goal." Success means to produce high quality work with perfection.
I consider success is described as who you're and who is your role model, who inspires you. I define success in my life by the goals, I accomplished and how I accomplish them. For me in order achieve true success, I need to accomplish the goals which I set realistically. Short cutting a goal just to complete, it is the same as failing.
Our ancient Vedanta gives a clear idea of the success as a whole. As per them, we learn to choose the long-term good, the ‘road less traveled by’. It backs its worldview of ‘oneness’ by a logic, which we the modern IQ-generation, can intellectually appreciate. The vision of the ‘whole’ as suggested by Vedanta is the very foundation of all goodness, virtues, ethics and mother of all Religions and is termed as ‘Santana-dharma’, i.e. those eternal and universal values and righteous conduct, following which, we remain on the critical path to our highest ‘Perfection’.
It is mentioned in our Vedas that:
उद्यमं साहसं धैर्यं बुद्धिः शक्तिः पराक्रमः। षडेते यत्र वर्तन्ते तत्र देवः सहायकृत्॥
This śloka (verse) means, wherever there are the six qualities of proper adequate and well-directed effort, enthusiasm, courage, intelligence, resources, perseverance, Person will get Success.
One of the crucial key steps to acquire achievement/Success in existence is to recognize the meaning of success in your personal life. The true meaning of success goes far beyond the common definitions of success, such as having a lot of money, being wealthy, having a lot of tangibles and earned degrees.
Surely, proper Success in existence cannot be measured with the above-named parameters. This means that success is not the trophies, humans are gathering in their lives, which our society today considers that living a successful life means you have to be relatively rich and feature a variety of tangibles. But the meaning of success is to live a happy life and to make this world a better place for everyone.
Personal Development is an ongoing process. It is a manner for humans to evaluate their capabilities and qualities, remember their aim in life and set desires with a purpose to realize and maximize their capability. It's all about finding the proper capability, making plans and more importantly cultivating them. Therefore, it is essential to Identify your capability, expand that capability then you will find success at your doorsteps. Reason why humans are failing is that they're now no longer interested in what they truly do. They don’t follow their passion.
True measure of Success
As Stephen Richards says: “The true measure of success is how many times you can bounce back from failure.” It's not about never experiencing a setback or a stormy day, it's about learning to dance in the rain.
Title, money, power and happiness are some of the indicators of success in the material world. It's essential to measure success in a manner as it informs the way you spend some time and effort. If you do not measure success in phases of what is definitely essential to you, you cannot reach closer to getting there.
The late Coach John Wooden, defined success as follows: “Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to do your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.” Success is an attitude
Why Passion Is So Important
When we are enthusiastic and happy with the activity we do, then we are ready to conquer the numerous limitations with a purpose to simply get up and move up in a career. Also, the extra enthusiasm we've got, the extra willingness to work will enhance our potential. This will permit us to constantly get higher on the work or achievement we do. The higher we get at our accomplishment, the higher we are able to receive success for doing it. Ensuring we're obsessed with our work will now no longer simply offer us with a significant career, however it's going to additionally provide us with being paid well. The passion we have for our work can be the difference between making a living or making a killing.
Relationship between success and passion in life
Steve Jobs stated and he believed in the power of passion and once said, "People with passion can change the world for the better."2 Jobs claimed that the passion he had for his work made all the difference.
Zuckerberg suggests "following your happiness" when at a crossroads, using the logic that even if you do not end up making a fortune, you will at least be doing what you love.
Always remember why you started and where you want to end up.
