Class Meta Predictions – What’s Going to Dominate in Season 8?
With the new patch notes Diablo 4 items teasing balance changes and class-specific enchantments tied to “whispers of deceit,” I’m trying to get a sense of what classes might take the crown in Season 8.
Barbarians got a subtle buff to Bleed synergy, and with “Ghost Weapon” enchantments giving a chance for phantom strikes on critical hits, I think Whirlwind Bleed builds might resurface. Rogues are looking spicy too—especially with the new Shadow Clone enhancements. Imagine a deception-themed season where you're literally summoning a double to do your dirty work.
Sorcerers might still lag unless Blizzard finally addresses their squishiness. There’s talk of a new Illusionist Enchantment passive that causes you to teleport a shadow image instead of your real character—could be game-changing if it works with glass-cannon setups.
Necros feel like they’re being nudged toward a “corrupt healer” build? Something about sacrificing summons for AoE buffs. Kinda twisted, and I love it.
Who do you think will shine this season? Let’s theorycraft before we get patch notes drop next buy diablo 4 items week.
